Teacher, Army Military Police School; Aalborg – 2009-Present
At my current position I teach in adult pedagogy, leadership, prisoner of war service, tactical combat casualty care and maintenance. When I not teaching I’m developing new soliciting material (both printed and internet based), new course programs and testing coming students.
Freelance Process & Project Consultant, The KaosPilots; Denmark – 2006-2009
During my time at the KaosPilots I lead, and contributed to at least 6 concrete projects from creating The Day for Sustainable Energy to a commercial for an Internet based company. I was co-facilitator and designer in at least 6 workshops aimed at creating better cooperation between employees in companies from the National Guard to BRF Kredit.
Section Commander, Danish Contingent; Basrah, Iraq – 2006
For half a year, I was a section commander at the military police unit at the Danish contingent in Iraq. My duties consisted of coordinating and monitoring the training of Iraqi police, intelligence gathering and serious incidents in the area, including inquest of Danish soldiers, arrests and traffic accidents.
Section Commander, Army Military Police; Aalborg – 2001-2006
My primary task was to educate young men and women before they were to be dispatched to either Kosovo, Afghanistan or Iraq and make course programs for the education. Daily I was teacher for these 8 – 20 people in the age from 20 to 30.
Bodyguard & Paramedic, Army Military Police; Baghdad, Iraq-2005
I was a bodyguard and paramedic for the employees at the Danish Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq. Leading up to the dispatchment I had to co-develop the education we needed, which have influenced how the Military Police functions today.
Shiftcommander, Army Military Police; Kabul, Afghanistan, 2002-2003
I was leader of a team consisting of 10 multinational military policemen. A task which was to identify the individual’s skills. Tasks ranged from mass graves over a helicopter crash to secret proceedings.
Skills
Education & Competence Development
I have taught almost daily during seven years at the Military Police (2001-2006 and 2009-present). I am trained to do course-programs and curriculums (by the Army Sergeant School) and has been part of the Pedagogical Council at the KaosPilots. Through my education, I have been working with Co-active coaching.
Leadership
Throughout my nearly 10 years as a leader in the Army and my training at KaosPilots. I have dedicated my experience and knowledge on how best looking people from diverse backgrounds. I have experience in creative and effective project management, building in particular Dee Hawks project model.
Project Management
Throughout the education to become a KaosPilot, I’ve worked with different projects. In these projects I’ve used different methods to run them i.e. SCRUM, IDEO, Grove’s Graphic Templates and Dee Hock’s project model, and found that the one I think best of, when certain results are demanded, is SCRUM, which can be spiced up with at bit of the other models.

My final project at the KaosPilots. The main focus was: How do Vestas create more meaning for their production workers through their yearly people review process (Performance Development Dialogue) and thereby increase production.

I looked into how a large partner-owned company can create happier employees, through an increased sence of meaning.

My process exam, where I did a 1-day workshop based on 3 weeks of research in-house focused on how the employees could reflect on the past and make the future cooperation better.

Co-writer and editor on the book Social Innovation – a Travel Guide published by the students on Team 13 at the KaosPilots. The content was compiled by the team after 3 months in Shanghai, China.
2007 From tribal fighting in Basra to consensus democracy in Århus
While I was attending first year at the KaosPilots I wrote the article From tribal fighting in Basra to consensus democracy in Århus, an article on how it was to come from a management position in the Danish Battalion in Basrah, Iraq to an education where consensus democracy was the preferred form of leadership.
